Glue? Screws?** A: Trim both pieces so it will close properly. Drill pilot holes, if needed, in the hardwood slide so you do not split the wood. Put screws where they will not obstruct operation. **Q: Do you get enough to handle one drawer or two drawers?** A: There were 2 slides in each pkg. I elected to use two slides on each drawer because it made the drawers feel "less wobbly" when opening and closing. Probably could have got by with one slide per drawer. But, I would still use two per drawer if I was doing it again. BTW, they worked very well. Hope this helps. **Q: What is the total thickness of both (i have 3/4" or so space between the two pieces, i think this is going to be tight?)** A: It was difficult to measure as it is already installed, but I think it is a bit over 3/4"....about 1/16". This was too much to make miNE perfect, but my old one was a thin piece of metal and the wood which totaled around 7/16". Iā€™m assuming user error, and the hardware bracket that came with the sliders provided sturdiness and a little flexibility on the length. I was able to screw it in to the back of the dresser, rest the wood on it in, and screw the wood into the front of the dresser. Maybe not the most professional fix, but a solid DIY and works with no issues or noticeable wiggling.
