All parts came included, nothing missing. Took exactly an hour to assemble the bed. Instructions were just basic with pictures no written words but I was able to follow it without an issue. It is all metal, the tools needed came with it so it’s great if you don’t have the tools on hand. It is sturdy, it doesn’t make noise with my daughter getting on and off of it. If you want to see the headboard more, I would recommend a lower profile mattress something under 10 inches thick. You can easily fit something 10 inches high underneath the bed for storage .
