On a brick structure you get an impression of the image but its not clear unless you use a light image like a star. Also I use it on a timer and it keeps resetting to the basic "motion" setting each time the timer comes on - and I wanted it to stay as a "fixed" image - which you can set, rather than a moving image. But its not bad overall. Review: Very disappointing - I bought this for a nursery but unlike the pictures it only has a very small display, maybe 6 - 10 ft across and you need total blackout conditions to even see the pictures on the wall.
