However, you use the scraper blade in position one, then rotate the blade 180 and use edge number two, then flip it for edge three, followed by another 180 for edge number four. Then after all that you could sharpen or buy a new blade **Q: would this remove paint from upvc window frames?** A: it will but will probably scratch the upvc. Only used it to remove old contact adhesive off wood. It work very well but sanding needed afterwards. **Q: Can I buy a replacement blade ? I see one but it looks slightly different** A: The blades listed (62mm) will fit. My beef is with the quality of the blades and the roughness of their edges. They all need careful dressing with a file so as to prevent line scoring before I'll let them near a surface to be smoothed!
