It was easy to install. I was using the rear cable entry cutout, which is marked out for a 20mm hole. As I wanted to do the best job possible to ensure it was water tight I purchased an MK grommet, which had a weatherproof rating, and was designed to accept twin & earth cable. This coupled with putting a generous amount of silicone sealant in the marked out channel, between the two raised concentric circles surrounding the cut-out, should achieve a good watertight seal. It would have been nice if one of these grommets had been supplied. Luckily I tracked down this MK grommet which dis the job perfectly, and was easy to obtain from some DIY outlets - although it did have to be ordered in for next day collection. So far no water ingress. Could be worth running a bead of silicone between the top and sides of the box to make really sure water doesn't get in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well built and looks nice *by R***C on 14 July 2022* I bought this to replace a single outdoor socket but wanted a double. Price wise it was about £5 cheaper than the high street tool stores.Well made and very easy to install.I like the brushed chrome effect which gives it a luxury look rather than the plastic grey / black one I used to have.Once clipped closed it is very secure and waterproof and you need some force to open again which maybe an issue for some people.
