This has a pocket of just the right size; and also a pocket for an iPad-sized tablet also, which was a bonus. The construction is pretty robust, and there are other pockets for sundry work items and elastic holders for water bottles either side. Another plus-point is the chest-fastening clip, which is just what you need if you're a bit round-shouldered and the straps otherwise tend to slip off. There is an airflow mechanism of padded strips to raise the bag from your back and allow air circulation.The other issue to mention is security. On the whole, I would have preferred it if the main zips were somehow concealed better, or that the backpack had come with a small locking padlock, to deter street-thieves. Having said that, the internal pockets for holding the laptop and tablet are covered by a fold-down large-area velcro patch, so if someone did get into the back of the bag, they would struggle to lift the flap, especially if the backpack was full of other stuff.
