These pajamas are incredibly soft and comfy. Upon arrival the length of the bottoms appears too long. Follow the instructions in washing the first time and they will be the perfect length. They do not continue to shrink after that. I always wash on the cold, delicate cycle and partially dry on low/delicate and then hang on a drying rack overnight. The waistband is very comfortable. The weight of the material is not thick, but will keep you warm, not hot.
