This item is also threaded on the inside if you want to use a regular pipe. I used a one inch spade bit, but had to enlarge the hole a little using a dremmel. If you can find a 1 1/16 inch hole saw it would be perfect. Or 27 mm if you are metric. **Q: I need to use this on a 7/8 inch thick bulkhead for our rv. will this work? will it have enough thread to attach a hose?** A: Sorry. No. It will only fit 6 mm wall if you are using the male GH Threads.
