They're just so practical, y'know? Big visual impact with minimal effort and no damage to the wall? Kinda the perfect decorating option, especially if you like to switch things up. You can't paint a different mural every day, but you can tack up a new hipster quilt!This is all a long way of saying I finally broke down and bought one of these things. The cactus version, to be exact, and it's every bit as twee as the photo suggests. What the photo cannot suggest, however, is just how big this thing is! I mean, yeah, there are dimensions listed and those photoshopped interior shots, but until you've got a giant cactus staring at you, the scale doesn't feel real. As I expected, the photo isn't the crisp masterpiece it looks from far away, but I expected as much since, you know, it's been blown up to a billion times it's original size, printed onto fabric, and sold for under 20 bucks. Would I prefer perfect, unattainable quality? Duh, obviously. Am I disappointed that it's not? Not at all. This is not a cotton tapestry or like a blanket in any capacity. It is made of a nylon material. The closest thing I can compare it to would be a flag.
