Cant find it being mentioned anywhere in the description.** A: No balls included with this item. I purchased a pack of 200 phthalate free BPA free, crush proof balls for $27.99. This was a great purchase for my grandkids under 7, they love it. **Q: Would this be suitable for cats?** A: I think it is! Our cats really love it and they don't have to crouch/army walk through the tunnels. It's big enough for them to run through full speed lol. It also hasn't ripped at all either. Our cats will be on either side of a tube or cube and try grabbing each other's shadow 😂 also with the mesh we don't have to worry on wether or not they're getting enough air. I wasn’t sure how interested they would be at first, but I was completely surprised by how much they love them. The twins are two years old, and it’s so fun to watch them crawl through the tunnels or sit inside the “tents” while playing with their other toys. The pieces can be connected in just about any shape you want, although most of the time the kids prefer not to have everything connected and instead enjoy using the pieces individually. These do take up a fair amount of space in our play area, so we often take them down and store them between play sessions. Thankfully, they collapse down to almost nothing, which makes storage incredibly easy and convenient. One small word of caution, if you have a cat, ours loves these just as much as the kids do!
