Army Ration Pack Ready To Eat Meals Menu 2

Pondering what to pack with you when going on an outdoor adventure , or just bored of cooking? This is a fun to have. Put the aluminum bag with the main meal into hot water and in no time you are served with a nourising dish. This comes with two hot meals (breakfast and lunch) , various bites , tea and the like.

Update AUG 2018: Now comes in a plastic bag (see photo), similar packaging to US MREs, easy to transport and a good BBE date. Mid 2020. Ideal for camping of fishing trip/weekend. only need to be able to boil water, so not much cooking equipment needed. Not sure if true military issue seems to have a good supply of sundries/snacks.Previous purchase: I believe that the pack I received was a civilian issue pack and not a genuine British army issue, why;1. No MOD lettering on the outer cardboard box, No union flag2. The accessory pack does not include Tabasco bottle, only I set of tea and and coffee not two as in MOD packs. No matches, No V6 chewing gum, No water purifying tabs.A little disappointing hence the two stars. I am not currently serving in the British army so I cannot be 100% sure but certainly not as expected. The pack does not include the flameless heater so you will need an external source of heat. supplied by evaQ8.co.uk. delivery was quick. I attached photo of the actual contents to this review. Good quality, easy to carry, easy to reheat, fairly light, compact but a little expensive which is why I have not given it 5 stars.

if you do a lot of walking or camping well worth the money, the service provided by the company is quick and good would remond them to all my freinds use them, a lot for hill walking and camping

Cost to the MOD is £10 so at this price it's is ridiculous.

Pretty common euro stuff, not really military level

Product came nicely packedge and on time. The only issues i had with it is the use by dates on some of the food was use in a year. Some of the contents looked like it came out of multipacks and just thrown in for good measures.Not sure it the contents is worth the cost TBH you may be able to a super market to get most of the things in this box at half the price.
