The mounting plate size was 38mm square the wheels size was 50mm. But due to the extra weight being placed onto the desk over time, the original plastic castor wheels had become squashed and little bits of plastic started to break off from the wheels.Leaving the desk being unable to wheel freely about.When hoovering needed to be done behind it,most annoying. So we found these Brilliant "Heavy Duty Castor Wheels" as a replacement and they really are the business. The plate size of these new castor wheels is 50mm square as opposed to our original ones.but i just re drilled the holes to fit these new ones.Now we can freely wheel the desk with complete ease.Without marking the floor a real pleasure. Excellent in every respect,well built and the wheels are capable of handling a load capacity of 75kg per wheel,300kg total.
