I'm glad too cause my fireplace mantel is older and is deeper than most at 12 inches deep. The TV I mounted is a LG C2 77". I was surprised that the mount has alot of options for getting the brackets right for the C2. The TV itself has an odd vesa mount so it's kind of hard to mount perfectly. My only gripe with the mount is that the holes I wanted to use that would of been absolutely perfect are blocked on the bottom hole. I had to use the mounting hole 1 up from the one I wanted to use. It's still wasn't enough to take a star away from my review. Overall extremely happy with the purchase amd would definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed. The remote has a circle up down left and right but only the top and down works for the “bring it down, and back up”.
