Our fireplace for some strange reason has a weird damper lever adjustment. There is a way to adjust the flow of air out but it can't be adjusted so that it is completely closed, therefor the gap lets in a lot of cold air in the winter. This blanket fits very well and is doing a great job at keeping the cold air out even though there is a small bulging out of the cover (lower right side in the photo) It's not a big problem since I don't really feel any cold air coming in at that area. I believe a couple more strong magnets would solve that issue as several reviewers had mentioned.
