My older metal cased model simply wasn't charging. I found that battery deposits had leaked onto the brass contacts and covered them so no current could flow. I removed them and put them in a saucer of Harpic toilet cleaner for an hour or so. The acid in the cleaner dissolved the alkaline secretions and the brass terminals came up like new. Screwed them back in place and the Raagini worked perfectly once more.
