The vests are very good quality, and we found the length just right for our 7 year old. Good luck! **Q: Would you recommend size 1-2 or 2-3 for 16 month old from your experience on the fit of these vests even after washing?** A: Our little boy has just turned 2 and we got 2-3, they are plenty big for him and fairly long. I would imagine 1-2 would be fine for a 16 month old. 2-3 would be far too big **Q: Any size charts?** A: It's normal uk size as expected **Q: We have a stocky 4 year old. Would 3-5 be big enough because next size is 6-8!** A: They are a stretchy close fit so I would be inclined to go for 6-8. I also have a stocky child and it never fails to surprise me how quickly they grow into it.
