The old snorkel was still working fine but I got a new mask and just thought that it was time to get a new snorkel as well. The new one seems to be of similar quality as the old one so I have no doubt that it will last. It's flexible enough to be comfortable and easy to use but it straightenes when not in use so it doesn't get in the way when you are on the regulator. The valve works well so it clears easily and it stays dry at the surface.
