The rack has extra screw holes so I added a wooden cross support and everything came out great. This light duty vented rack shelf solves the problem. The only downsides are that assembly is required and the screw heads on the sides that are part of the assembly do sit out a bit proud so some shelves may require a little finesse depending how full the rack is.
