I bought these as a gift and the person I bought them for had never used the wire! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Headphones *by S***X on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 August 2017* Although i did not originally intend to use these headphones for music i find myself using them more and more to listen to music instead of my more expensive wired ones, i purchased these with the intention of using them for audio books and the BBC Iplayer radio service but once i had realised the benefits of not being attached by a cable they became my everyday headphonesfrom the stylish box that they arrive in to the headphones themselves you get a sense of quality, they are not going to fall apart and they look just stunning, the brown leather headband cover is very classy while the earcups themselves with their metal rod attachment arms look as though they should cost many times more than they docomfort is important when using headphones and these do not disappoint, the earmuffs comfortably cover your ears forming a soft seal that does a good job of keeping out much of the ambient noise, the padded headband is very comfortable and it is a pleasure to use these even when wearing glass'spairing is very straightforward and takes only a couple of seconds and now that i have paired them with my devices i simply select the AX-05 on whichever device i wish to use them with and hit connect,withing a couple of seconds i hear the beep to let me know they are connected and they then appear with the headphone symbol on my phone or tablet which also displays a tiny icon that shows the headphones battery status which is very usefulthe audio quality is my main surprise with these, it is far better than i was expecting and although as stated in the description they are a little bass heavy this is not a problem, being able to hear instruments as they were recorded is something i expect from my wired headphones which are totally flat in response and are used with a separate dac and amp but to hear almost the same through a cheaper pair of BT headphones is nothing short of amazing,when i say almost i mean it is about as near as it could be to the wired ones which is quite a statementmy next big surprise was the first time i used them to listen to a radio drama on the Iplayer radio app on my Ipad, at one point i even took them off as i was certain someone had spoken to me, the separation and soundstage of these is that good i was convinced that i heard a voice beside me when it was in reality part of the drama, the voice reproduction is superb and being able to hear every little sound effect used in the broadcast is something that is not possible when using the tablet speakers alonei am extremely pleased with these headphones and i have no hesitation in recommending them ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great cans for the price *by B***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 May 2018* Pairing is easy. The difference between the bluetooth sound and cabled sound is negligible. I've walked around the hoouse on bluetooth and only ever received a broken signal at the far corners of the property.Very occassionally on lower quality audio-files, the phones do tend pick up the very high-frequencies more than the lower ranges. Again though, I stress this will be on lower bit-rate MP3 files and does not occur on higher bit-rate MP3's or lossless files. I never noticed this on my other headphones, but believe this to be due to superior frequency separation on the these phones.The bass response was not as deep as I was initally used to, as the sound is more natural. However, listening to music via an Equalizer to boost that bass shows that these headphones can handle the bass load very well.Battery life seems incredible.
