- 【Activated Alumina】utilize premium quality raw material with an extremely porous structure and high surface area-to-mass ratio, high strength against crushing and very stable physical and chemical characteristics, even in high temperature and corrosive environments. At 77℉/25℃, RH90%, it can absorb more than 30% of its weight in water vapor. Each bead is 3 – 5mm in size.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What happens if the desiccant is dried at over 250c? if i have a precise and well controlled oven can it go higher (like 315c)?**
A: heating them over the recommended temp will probably not damage them. however heating them to recharge them leaves a smell like burnt metal and mildew. I would not recommend drying it in your kitchen oven. I did and it took several days for that smell to dissipate. I moved a little toaster oven outside my house and I recharge the desiccant in small batches.
