I thought they would be plastic but they are actually quite sturdy and made of something robust. Even the piece of wood they sit on is made of something quite heavy, plaster I guess. They are certainly not cheap birds. There is quite a lot of detail and colour applied to these. My wife and I look forward to seeing Robins in the garden but the last two we had right through the winter seem to have disappeared. These two fellows are a very realistic alternative - and they don't fly away when they are bored either.

What can i say, id already placed 2 robins on my dads grave, but one must of got knocked off or something, so i ordered these, they are absolutely beautiful...the detail and colour are amazing. These are charming birds and looks great positioned around my garden. I thought they would be plastic but they are actually quite sturdy and made of something robust. Even the piece of wood they sit on is made of something quite heavy, plaster I guess. They are certainly not cheap birds. There is quite a lot of detail and colour applied to these. My wife and I look forward to seeing Robins in the garden but the last two we had right through the winter seem to have disappeared. These two fellows are a very realistic alternative - and they don't fly away when they are bored either.
