While I liked that the hollow wooden kalimba was louder, I couldn’t trade that for how melodious this one was. None of the tines are dead (they all ring clear) and the sound resonates for so much longer. It’s well made and very beautiful and the fact that it’s so pretty sounding, but also so visually appealing, makes it all the more relaxing and fun to play for me.
