An absolutely beautiful piece of furniture that looks every bit as good as the TV itself. Delivery wise, the cabinet was ordered with desertcart prime on Saturday afternoon and delivered at 9 o'clock on Sunday morning by DPD- excellent service by the courier as usual. It was well packaged and very heavy. Upon opening it comes with instructions similar to those provided by a well known Swedish furniture store, and states it should take around an hour to build, which it did. The components are well made and each panel (and even the screws etc) are easily identified by a numbered small sticker. Inside there is plenty of room for a Blu Ray player, Sky box and I have an AV receiver which sits nicely. It is deep enough to house all cables so that only the power cable from each component shows outside. I suppose you could maybe plug each item into a multi socket and have just the one cable leaving the cabinet as the cable management holes are big enough to provide plenty of ventilation at the rear. The glass doors are soft touch and impressively for flat pack furniture line up perfectly. Outside, the cabinet is as it says- gloss black with the chrome legs and looks very stylish in our room. My previous set up was higher due to having to house the AV receiver, but this cabinet is obviously wider and therefore allows the TV to sit a bit lower which, with the size of the TV makes the viewing experience better for me. The beam through doors work as they should- I have a One for All remote and everything turns on and off with no problems. The TV fits perfectly for the size- I'm not sure how it would look with anything smaller or larger, but for the 55" screen it is fine. I emailed the seller about a couple of queries I had and they couldn't have been more helpful, replying promptly and professionally. Overall, I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. Review: A brilliant, elegant entertainment/TV unit! - After months and months of research and deliberating, I decided to purchase this TV/entertainment unit and what a great decision that was. I spent hours and hours online searching for the right one and I’m glad I found this item. Initially was searching for a “floating” wall mount unit, however most available seem to be made from very cheap quality as have to be light on order to be wall mounted. This unit has 4 elegant standing legs (see pictures) finished in a polished chrome effect. The unit is a perfect size and has 3 compartments inside. Note one side is full height of interior and the other half. This can be swapped around but only before you assemble the top of the unit. So please decide this before you assemble the unit. The infra red doors work perfectly with Sky, PS and music Amps. There is a back board on the unit, through which wires can be fed. These hole positions are adequate and can be used for most things. When attaching this back board, ensure that it is positioned in the perfect position before attaching the tack nails (as it can easily slip and then the off centre back board seen from the front of the unit).
