Gorilla Wood Filler White is a water resistant formula that does not shrink or crack, making it ideal for indoor or outdoor projects and repairs on painted wood surfaces. The unique formula is easy to spread, allowing for a smooth finish with high performance stainability, paintability, and sandability — so every repair under white or light-colored paint is clean, seamless, and built to last. USE IT FOR: Use it for: white painted trim and baseboards, window casings, door frames, painted furniture, molding and millwork, nail and screw hole filling, light-colored wood repairs, outdoor trim (with exterior paint topcoat) DIRECTIONS: 1.) PREPARE — Clean and dry the surface of all dirt, dust, and foreign material. Surface, filler, and air temperature should be above 40 degrees F. Knead before use. 2.) FILL — Squeeze tube and apply filler to the damaged area using a putty knife. Press firmly in place and remove excess. Large or deep holes may require a second application. 3.) SAND — Allow to dry approximately 1 hour for shallow fills and 2 to 6 hours for deeper holes. Sand smooth using medium sandpaper or a high speed sander. 4.) FINISH — Paint with latex or oil-based paint as desired. Test stain on scrap wood with filler before applying to the full surface. For outdoor use, coat with exterior paint. 5.) Review: Excellent glue for bonding wood to vinyl - Per the subject heading... I used this to bond a vinyl trim piece from the edge of a desk top piece back to the desk top after sawing off a section of the desk so that it would be shorter. The hardest part of the project was removing the residue from the trim piece after peeling it off. The desk is a commercial desk, and the desktop is a very densely packed press board of some sort--much better than the stuff you buy from Warfair or similar. I was concerned that the glue may not stick well enough to the super smooth edge of the desktop after I sawed it with a circular saw blade designed for finish cuts. This glue did a fantastic job. It is very tacky right from the start, so even though I had several long wood clamps, I really didn't need them. The glue held the vinyl in place after firmly pressing it in place. I did use the clamps to really press the vinyl trim tightly against the edge of the desktop, but then I could remove them entirely and the vinyl stayed put. I do recommend that you clean up any excess as early in the process as possible, as it is very sticky, so removing excess will be more difficult once it dries. Excellent glue--would recommend.

A: I cut the tip off of mine and 
And had to poke an object down in it to break through the dried up part of the wood putty it was pretty bad. I think they are selling tubes that are pretty old and the stuff is almost dried up.

Great color for my purpose. It did work, but was a little dry. Because of that it was a little more difficult to apply. Should have been a little more paste-like.
