A: I am not sure.  I am guessing if it is safe to use with your baby, dogs are good as well.

**Q: Can you use acrylic paints on this?**
A: I don’t see why not. I did not paint mine. I would seal it with a clear coat when you are done. I am not 100% sure. Give a try.

**Q: Does the clay harden over time or does it stay on the soft-ish pliable side?**
A: Hi, it will dry and harden fully.

**Q: We are considering painting them a different color than the gold provided. Is there a particular type of paint that works best on the clay?**
A: Hi, you may use any type of acrylic paint from art and craft stores.

These are a nice, thick material but heavy for hanging. Dry time is at least 5 days. The plastic frame is nice to have to make sure it’s the right shape.
