You get the fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K, including K2) as well as Omega 3 fatty acids. None of these are truly obtainable from plants, which only provide precursors that the human body doesn’t convert in large enough amounts to be useful. There's also probably nutrients that we simply don't know about yet. I started this along with several other changes such as cutting out sugar & grains, so it's hard to tell what helped the most, but I find I'm now much more resilient to colds (including the Big C), and many annoying little health problems such as plantar fasciitis and cankersores disappeared. This is especially good for us older folks; I give it to my mother too, and she also has seen some similarly positive results. A tip for usability: keep this in the fridge. The solid form is easier to serve out and way less messy than the liquid oil, and also does a better job of hiding the taste of cod liver oil. Update: Unfortunately, this product is now shipped in a bag, not a box. As a result, it arrived broken. The seller does not accept returns. I was able to get desertcart to refund the purchase price, but they said they would only do that once. I ordered again thinking this was just a mistake, but it again came in a bag (not broken fortunately). So, unfortunately I can no longer buy this product on desertcart - I get it directly from the manufacturer instead.

A: I never heard of it. I can tell you it's the best fermented cod liver oil that i have tried. Try others out there, and you decide.

I’ve purchased this a a few times and the taste is great. It tastes like cinnamon butter, but it does have a hint of a fish aftertaste. Nothing like taking plain cod liver oil. The quality is great and comes highly recommended by Weston price.
