He was an American hairdresser, chemist, hair care products entrepreneur and businessman.Jheri Redding was the first to make "pH balanced" shampoos, the first to put vitamins in hair care product; he developed the perm product Jheri curl and was the inventor of modern-day hair conditioner.This hair masque arrives in a presentation box. Once you’ve taken the pot out of the box don’t open it straight away especially if it’s come by Royal Mail or been transported in a vehicle. Make sure you place it the right way up and leave it about 5 minutes to settle. I’m only mentioning this as once you take the lid of there is no seal to stop the liquid from going all over, (as I found out when I opened mine).This hair masque mask can be used with different hair types and styles as well as helping to tame fizzy and stop flyaway hair on straight, (I have the latter).It has a slight fragrance but that soon disappears.It’s formula is enriched with concentrated Elastin Protein, glycerine and a blend of precious oils which includes Babassu and Marula oil. Therefore, as it gently moisturises your hair, so your hair becomes silky, radiant and responsive.The company recommends that you should use the Hair Masque one a week in place of your Nexxus Oil Infinite conditioner. Directions are; apply the hair masque to damp hair, focus on the mid-length and the endings. Then comb it through your hair, then leave on for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse.My hair felt really lovely afterwards and it was a lot more responsive than usual.The only down side is it’s expensive for what it is, (I’m only giving this product 4 stars due to that).I’m really pleased with the result from this product and can recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magic *by B***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2017* This is a lovely, beautifully scented deep conditioner...a really good product for frizzy that only requires a little to be effective. I like to apply and wear a shower cap for a bit to allow the heat to help it work magic on my hair.My hair is so soft and manageable after using it - and it smells divine.Nexxus is a trusted range, good quality ingredients and a little goes a long way.Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alternative to a conditioner *by R***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2017* My wife has long “frizzy” hair and she applies this Hair Masque for Frizzy Hair instead of a conditioner. The idea is that you use this Hair Masque once a week instead of your normal conditioner. My wife found it ok and it did leave her hair feeling soft, but she prefers a conditioner though by the same manufacturer as this one, the  Nexxus Oil Infinite Conditioner for Frizzy Hair 250ml .
