In fact it took longer to peel off the protective plastic than it did to assemble the table. The middle shelf had 2 small dents that did not affect use or function, so I let them know about it so that they might prevent such occurrences in the future. I told them twice that I did not want to return it or expect a refund, as the table functions just fine. Even so they refunded $30, so that was pretty cool of them.
