I began with the standard soup spoon which broke even with quality ice cream then the dessert spoon and quickly followed on to the ladle but still the ice cream needed to be out of the freezer for half an hour before it could be eaten. I'm pleased to say that this scoop did prove "Eazi" to me, I am now able to take ice cream directly from the freezer and without difficulty serve perfect scoops and without running under hot water as well.We do not currently have a dishwasher so the fact that it isn't dishwasher proof is not an inconvenience, but even If we had I would have no concerns with washing this by hand.I can recommend this 100% great value and great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Careful with hot water! *by S***A on 5 July 2023* This works just as it should.BUTI ruined the first one by putting it in the dishwasher.I missed any written instructions (my fault) but the engraved writing on the handle is not very prominent being the same etched colour as the handle itself.But getting ice cream out of tubs is a whole new experience; no more bent spoons. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy *by L***G on 9 February 2024* I make my own ice cream which tends to be really hard.
