At first, I was a little frustrated because it took a few attempts to get the kind of curl I wanted. The heat settings were adjustable, which is a plus, but I found that I had to go over sections of hair more than once to get a nice, defined curl. It didn't seem to give that instant curl some other irons do, but once I got the hang of it, the results were pretty good. The barrel itself was smooth and didn't tug on my hair, which is always a positive. It was comfortable to hold, and the design was pretty user-friendly. The curls I eventually achieved were bouncy and lasted for a decent amount of time. However, I do wish it heated up a little faster and gave me the kind of curl I wanted with fewer passes. All in all, it’s an okay option if you’re looking for something affordable and reliable, but it does take a bit of patience to really get the results you're after.
