I wasn't looking forward to having to alter the length, as suggested in the item description, but they were perfect in length and arrive hemmed already. The fabric did have a very SLIGHT sheen like sports leggings often have, due to them being described as 'matt' I deducted a star, they were purchased for day wear not sport, so this mattered to us. The material was thicker than a 'New Look' shop legging, but not as thick as body controlling/support legging material. The fit was flattering, they are a little tight to get on which is common with a decent quality legging, but once on they are comfortable.
