Hartleys Bedroom Dressing Table with Folding Vanity Mirror

Got this for my 8 year old daughter who loves it. It doubles as a desk once the top in down which is handy. It's a perfect size, not too big. Lots of little storage compartments which she instantly filled with jewellery and make-up bits.The handles are a bit cheap and cheerful but my daughter likes them. I would change if it were in my room but think this is more suited to a child or teenager space.Was a bit awkward to get the back legs on but front ones were easy.Would also suggest looking at the "White Classic Dressing table/Foot stool with White Faux Leather" sold on Amazon to go with this as it has no stool supplied and the one in the picture is rather horrible. Got this stool today and they go quite well together.Delivery of the dressing table was super fast.

I'd say that this product is expensive for what it is. It is somewhat fiddly to assemble as four of the eight screws holding the legs on are positioned at the back of the spaces occupied by the drawers. As you can't see what you're doing you have to do it by feel and the allen key is difficult to manipulate in the confined space.We also found that the stay for the mirror was positioned such that the only way to see yourself was to kneel on the floor as the mirror would not move further back than the vertical. Easy enough to fix by relocating the lower hinge of the stay about an inch to the rear so the mirror could be postioned beyond the vertical and you can then see yourself when sitting on a standard height chair. I should have sent it back but fixing it was less hassle than disassembling, repackagfng and going through the return process. For this price I would have expected the manufacturer to have some effective quality control. Unless you're fairly handy this product is not for you.

Comes with everything needed to assemble but a little challenging to use a hex key blind (at the end of the drawer compartment). Recruit a kid (or a capuchin) if you can! Still managed on my own and it only took about 20 minutes. Make sure you hold or tape the top shut when assembling.

My main dressing table is built in but in the wrong place as I have to stand in my own light with no room to sit for putting on my make up. This one fits beautifully in the window and I can sit in front of it to do my face. It is a wonderful bit of kit.

Great dressing table but there is a notable quality difference vs premium brands which we expected.Purchased for our 8 year old for Chtistmas and she loves it and no doubt over time she will trash it, so the price makes it a good option for us.

This is the perfect size for my 7 year old daughter and versatile as can be used as a desk too. The mirror is at her eye level when sitting on a chair but too low for me. We changed the drawer knobs for crystal ones to personalise it a bit. Delivery was quick and item arrived undamaged.
