The bike I received does not have a 40 lb wheel. That was my main purchase point to get a bike with a 40lb wheel. Was very disappointed when the bike arrived with the 22 lb wheel. I needed the bike for exercise so I did not send it back. Because the wheel is so light when I ride I can get the front to raise off the floor some times. If I had a 40lb wheel this wold not happen. The bike was not hard to assemble. Maneuverability is like I indicated with the bike lifting with the lesser weighted wheel. Sturdiness is an issues because when you are getting into it with riding the bike will rise off the floor because of the lesser weight wheel. Because of the movement you have to use your tools to keep the bike screws tightened down occasionally.
