Review: Very nice indeed - There are clones of this but in my opinion the build quality far outweighs the cost difference. This is metal and plastic, the mechanism is smooth and only takes minimal effort to use.

It saves taking the lens hood off each time and reversing it as on other lens hoods. So easy to use. It was expensive, but it seems you get what you pay for, and in this case it was an excellent purchase. I would recommend it.

**Q: Is it metal or plastic?**
A: It is plastic

**Q: Will the STF-8 attach without issue with the lens hood in place?**
A: Unfortunately no.

**Q: Does it come with a cap?**
A: No, it doesn't. The lens should have come with a cap.  This is a great hood. Once it's placed on the lens, it can just stay there because you just lightly push it out when needed and then just pull back on it to retract over the lens.

**Q: Can the hood be extended (at least partially) while using the stf-8 macro flash? does the hood rest in position if only partially extended? thank you.**
A: I'm not familiar with the stf-8 flash but the lens hood can be used in any position, it will stay put. (Unless the flash will interfere).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pricey but neat

It’s a shame it’s not included with the 60mm. I just like the simplicity of it, just twist it on and you can push it down or pull it up when needed. It is a bit pricey for a hood, but it works so well, wishOM systems did this with other hoods, as you don’t need to take off, once fitted. Push it down when in your bag, but do use with lens cap in this position, otherwise you could damaged your lens. No need to take off if shooting without needing it extended, just set your lens up, push back and go. I would have given 5 stars, but for the price. Build quality and fit are good. Would recommend to anyone with the 60mm macro lens.
