Have not tried on dive yet. Compared with other torches seems to be not as sturdy, however not.being.used until end April. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A really nice torch, but note mine and other reviewers comments about accessing the battery compartment! *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 February 2017* I will start off by mentioning (as other reviewers have) that this torch is mildly irritating straight out of the box (although I have forgiven it now...)There are a full set of batteries included so being a typical bloke I wanted to power up and give it a try immediately! The top of the torch unscrews as per many other torch designs (and has a very secure fit which gives me great confidence at its underwater seal). However, the LED ‘unit’ stayed in the barrel of the torch and in the instructions there is no clear picture of it being like this. The pictures show the LED unit being attached to the lens and collar part so I did initially think it was broken. It took some very vigorous shaking to actually get it to come out to reveal the battery compartment. With batteries installed and (please note!) having lined up the LED unit as per the channels on the inside of the barrel, it all went together easily but this was what was just a bit annoying!The switch almost feels a little clunky, however I imagine that if you are using it for diving that you may have neoprene gloves on, in which case this would be appropriate. The switch either slides to flash the lamp, or clicks permanently on.There are two power settings, although to switch you have to dismantle the torch and it’s quite fiddly. I can’t notice a particularly big difference between the two so have kept it on the lower setting which should help improve the LED lifetime and the battery life. The beam and power of the torch is bright and well focussed.There is a nice elasticated lanyard with a spring slider so you can secure it nicely to your wrist. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant light and comfortable to use *by N***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 January 2017* This is a well designed torch, very much geared towards diving and outdoor activities ... fishing, sailing etc. It is IPX-8 rated to 75M, which is much deeper that I go anyway.The torch has a nice balance and the ergonomic design means that it is comfortable your hand, and the big 3 position switch ... OFF/Hold On/Permanent is easy to use and positive, even with gloves on.The lens is designed to produce a very focused beam of light, especially good for murky UK waters, and has 2 settings, low is 210 lumens, high, 260.With batteries installed, the torch weighs 240g, or 8.5 oz and is 168mm, 6.6" long and 47mm 1.85" wide.It has a good elasticated wrist band, and the asymmetrical shape means that it won't roll away on a rocking boat.
