They were comfortable for the 5 year old despite being loose and provided great coverage. She had no complaints of it getting in the way. I've washed one so far... it was easy to clean and appears to have no shrinkage or wear from the wash. I see these lasting as long as any other fleece bib out there. Not sure if it was a mistake or a new version but ours had no text under the image... which I think is actually great, because the text "Lucky [whatever]" writing is kind of cheesy IMHO.
