Having recently discovered therapeutic or restorative yoga, this is a very good introduction. Simple, with key postures, suggestions for adaptation and the cards with real people doing the postures are very helpful. I think you need to have a teacher, ideally, but this is very good home kit, which does excatly what it says on the box. I haven't listened to the CD, I must confess.

Cheri and Biff have put together a book that shows you a myriad different ways to lie down, using a ridiculous number of bolsters, blankets, chairs, cushions and straps. But arranging seven different blankets under your knees, wrists, back and neck while holding a book or even one of their 16 colour cards is something of a conundrum. They claim to include a cd - which presumably explains what to do as you lie surrounded by soft furnishings. In fact they say it includes a 75 minute guided routine and meditation. But in actuality it includes no such thing - search as I might, there is no cd. My enquiry via Amazon elicited no response. So only buy this incomplete 'kit' if you have a passion for stacking blankets and cushions.
