After one year the tips of some of the stars started to peal up. I used shoe goo to put them back down and the ball has kept on. I'd say, if you think you'll use this ball up in a year, go for it! I didn't mind glueing the tips back down. This is my second favorite ball of the last year, I usually have 3 or 4 going at a time and am happy to get a year out of one.
