Sorry, it doesn't help. **Q: Does the paint on this last or does it wear off over time?** A: Seems to survive all knocks but mine has only travelled for 3 weeks **Q: do metallic leave finger prints?** A: I haven't noticed visible finger prints. **Q: will this bottle leak? i keep water bottles in my purse so it would be on its side a lot.** A: I've had no problem with leaking and have been carrying it around in my purse a lot. In the fall, winter and spring its easy to leave a water bottle in your car and take a drink when thirsty.
