I have very dry skin, and used to get cracks on my knuckles and elbows... but since I've used this soap, I don't get those dry cracks in my skin. I'm just super careful not to get it in his eyes, because it is really minty, and would probably sting. There are now 3 of us using this soap (including the dog), I shower daily, the other person showers 3 or 4 times a week, and the dog twice a month (he's 70 lbs and furry) and one bottle lasts us about 3 months. It goes a LOT further if you use a washcloth to lather up your body.
