New Orleans Roast100% Pure French Chicory - 12oz (Pack of 1)

Not having had trickery before I really was not sure what to expect, although I didn’t realize this was not going to taste like coffee, after all, it is not coffee. The 1st cup I was not quite sure if I liked it or not, however, as I tried it the second time I found I quite liked it. it is certainly very possible with the bold and rich if not slightly sweet taste. I will definitely purchase this again.

I can't have caffeine so I was very happy to find this. To me it tastes almost exactly like French roast coffee. However a little goes a LONG way and I always make it way too strong and have to dilute with water and milk. It lasts a long time because so little is required.

My partner loves her daily morning strong java but recently the caffeine caused a eye to twitch. Our regular coffee already has chickory so she tried this and took eventually gave it her approval without her eyes going hawire.

I've never tried chicory before, but I wanted a coffee alternative that I could drink in the evening without keeping me up all night.This doesn't quite taste like coffee, but I do still enjoy the flavor. It's close enough that it satisfies the craving, and the flavor is pretty good on its own. I would describe it as a light toasted nutty flavor. After drinking it every now and then for a couple months, I it's really grown on me.It's also very easy to make a drink with this - literally just brew it like you would ground coffee. You can put it in a coffee machine, a french press, whatever. I've even put it in a tea strainer. As long as it steeps in hot water, it should be fine. Maybe a chicory connoisseur would say otherwise, but it works for me!

This has been an excellent decaf coffee substitute. I love rich, dark roast coffee though, if you don’t, this might not be the sub for you. Flavor is amazing!!
