However, inverting the blade and using the pointed part may be able to get at the roots effectively. **Q: Will this replace my loop hoe? Or is this just mostly for corners and tight areas?** A: Never used a loop hoe. This works fine for us in all areas. Keep it clean and dry. It will rust. **Q: Will this remove english ivy or Himalayan blackberry vines?** A: Use this to cut it back then use 30% vinegar on the roots. Oif that doesn’t work, a shovel to reall dig it out is the alternative **Q: Does this work well on very stubborn weeds like volunteer trees and bushes that can't be pulled by hand?** A: This works well for garden weeds. In my opinion more ergonomic than a hoe. Would it work for small trees and bushes, probably but I don't think it would be my tool of choice.
