The cloths arrive shrink-wrapped, so they appear to be thin; however, I washed and dried them before use, and they are, in fact, thick and fluffy. I love these cloths, they are soft and just the right size and get the make up off or you can use them as a wash cloth. They can be thrown in the washing machine or thrown away. There is many of them so lasts for ages.
