They are very cute, colors and texture are nice (I have the smooth side facing upwards, rough side down on hardwood floors to prevent sliding). I was afraid of the white, as my nephews tend to drag dirt, etc. into the house, but these wipe off very easily with just baby wipes. I like the large size of the cut outs, I don't worry about my son choking on them, and everything interlocks well. I can't give any info about the fencing arrangement as I haven't tried it. My only complaint is that they had small pock marks in places brand new - it looks like bits of hot material melted the mats in places during manufacturing and it was not caught by quality control. Honestly though, it's really a minor thing and I am otherwise completely satisfied with the two sets I bought, so these still get 5 stars from me. :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect! Thick enough that it gives padding but firm enough that it is stable for my daughter to try to learn to crawl and walk on. The sides are great so toys can’t roll to far, and it keeps the dogs from darting across it easily. The dogs have walked on it a lot and there is no damage or scratching so far at all! I am happy with this purchase! Size with the sides up is a 4’ by 6’ rectangle with the sides flat it is a 5’ by 7’ rectangle.
