But, it is useful. I got it for my son to study for the ACT in the summer between his sophomore and junior years. It has a lot of detail, so you may need to skim through to begin with and familiarize yourself with the format and how this will be most useful to you and/or your child. Near the beginning there is a practice test which I think will be the best for us to begin with, it has each section just like an actual ACT and tells you how long to time yourself. Then you can go in and score your test and go from there to decide how best to study.
