I have used both and they are both fantastic, so I will be using the same review for both of them: I have never had to deal with an ash dump door before. I was always Cinderella with my hair back and an apron manually cleaning the fireplaces. We didn't know we needed one until we bought the house and we were trying to figure out why the smoke was coming into the living room - fireplace is deep, so we couldn't initially see the hole in the fireplace floor. It was easy to just drop in. Solved the issue of the air displacement. Had bought a ash catch tray until it arrived to prevent any burning embers from going into the ash dump under the house. Great material, heavy duty.
