First off the straps are awkward to set up correctly since they are too close to the edges of the weights. Since only one per has the bukle it makes tightening the lower strap awkward and unweildly often you wrap it around and the material folds the wrong way and you can't use the velcro. The next biggest issue is the lack of padding. Out of the two sets of weights I own these ones are way more uncomfortable the metal bars remove almost all the flex from the things and the material of the rest of it is corse and rough so it can start to rub uncomfortabley against you. They can be strapped to your arms that the main reason I got them honestly but even then I have an issue of them being a bit too long for fore arms but at the same time they aren't wide quiet enough for calves. But honestly yeah for my purposes these will do.
