Review: Absolutely Lovely Model! - Beautiful model of a beautiful dog. I know someone who owned a real one of these from their early teens and it is still loved today - even though long gone. The modeling is superb. My one gripe with Schleich is that I bought 2 packs of farm animals for a child as a present. The 2 packs are massively out of synch with regard to size which is poor. I have not been able to find anywhere where Schleich communicates the sizes of their models. This strikes me as very odd from a recognised high-quality modeling company. It is certainly very disappointing to me as a customer, I would only buy their products from a shop environment in future - they aren't dependable in an online environment.

**Q: Will it stand up on its own?**
A: Yes stands on own. It's very well made. It is not for kids.....my grands ages 6-9 would have it broken in no time even when being careful. Schleich is German so assume it was designed in Germany, but looking carefully at the pup, it says made in China. Still, it is very well made.

**Q: Would this fit a barbie doll?**
A: yes, it's very small. it could be used as a puppy for Barbie dolls

**Q: What material is this made from?**
A: A Hard Plastic material.

**Q: Is it a 1/24 scale for use in a miniature doll house?**
A: I'm not sure of the exact scale, but it could be used for a doll house.  However, it has a puppy look compared to an adult golden, so it would look more like an older golden puppy in a doll house rather than a small puppy.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for creative play

In my opinion Schliech plastic models are the best on the market. They are beautifully designed, expensive, stand up to generations of handling and seem as though they will last forever. Good for children of 3 years and upwards. Great fun for grandparents and children to enjoy creative interaction together. Personally I am happy to pay a little more for models that are really attractive as these are. Schleich make an amazing range of all kinds of animals, especially different breeds of horses. The farm people seem hard to find so buy them when you see them.
