Otherwise, the adapter should do the job. **Q: my keyboard is powered with the dongle, but there is no connection and not able to type anything. Any thoughts on how to solve this ?** A: Try a connecting a mouse to the adapter. If the mouse works, then there is something amiss with your keyboard.
