Assembly took about an hour for one person, helps if you have a 13mm socket and ratchet however a set of 4 high quality wrenches is included for assembly which surprised me. The great thing about this hoop is that it will adjust from about 4' to 6' if you assemble using only two poles which allows for upright storage in the standard garage. Removing 4 bolts allows you to add the third pole after which the hoop adjusts from about 7' to the standard 10' (rim height, not to the top of the backboard). The adjustment lever works flawlessly and even my 8 yr old can make the adjustment with a bit of effort. Seems to roll quite easily filled with water (I added the base gel which was a good addition). All in all this is a great purchase with regard to overall quality, ease of assembly and adjustability.
